Welcome to Capital Cacti and Succulents, a small backyard nursery based in Canberra, dedicated to providing quality cacti and succulent plants suitable for the serious collector and home gardener alike.

This is my second list of cacti and succulent plants for sale. The plants are all growing on their own roots and will be sent bare rooted, individually wrapped and will include a label. The plants vary in size and such variation, along with their relative rarity, is reflected in the prices. Most are two to three years old and the majority have been raised from seed (indicated by (s) in the list or where they have been propagated from cuttings, this is indicated by a (c)). They should transplant quite readily if potted up, or planted out where appropriate, soon after they are received. The prices in this list will remain current until end November 2008. No orders are able to be sent to Western Australia or Tasmania due to the high cost of compliance with AQIS and W.A./Tasmania quarantine regulations. No international sales.

The cactus plant names are based on the nomenclature as included in The New Cactus Lexicon and CITES Cactaceae checklist (second edition). Where appropriate I have indicated synonymous names which may be more familiar to you.

Charges for postage and packing is a standard $7.50 for all destinations. This cost includes posting box, wrapping , postage and handling. If you require registered mail please add $2.70. The instructions regarding how to make payments are shown below. Because this is only a small volume business I have opted not to be included in the GST system, so the prices quoted have no GST component. If you wish to order plants from the list, please send an e-mail to capitalcactus@bigpond.com, and I will send you an order form, although e-mail orders are most welcome. Several plants are only available in limited numbers so indicating substitutes should the ordered plants be sold out would be appreciated. There is no minimum order.

Orders will be processed in order of receipt and orders will be filled and sent out within 10 days of receipt. Please note that the nursery is not open to the public and all sales are by mail order. Please also note that the nursery is closed to all sales during the months of June, July and August.

Privacy: Customers ordering from this list will be kept confidential from third parties.

Finally, the plant list covers only those lines which I have sufficient quantity to list for sale. However, I have several other plants in small quantities so if there is anything you are particularly after, drop me a line and I will see if I can supply it.

HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR ORDER

Payment should accompany your order. I accept payment by bank cheque, money order, internet EFT, or cash. Personal cheques only by prior arrangement. Credit card payments are not accepted. Cheques, money orders etc should be made payable to C. HYMAN.
